I use my blog to keep my family, friends and sports enthusiasts updated with my travels and soccer endeavors. I normally update it when I am traveling with the US Deaf Women's National Soccer Team.

It is not everyday when you achieve a life long dream. As I stood on the podium in front of the world as a gold medalist, I realized I had done two things: I achieved and destroyed a dream. I talk about winning my first gold medal with the US Deaf Women's National Soccer Team in Taipei, Taiwan in 2009.

I was fortunate to study abroad in one of the most historical cities, London for a semester. Blogging about my adventures abroad allowed for me to keep track of my growth as a person.

I wrote about my excitement of getting ready for another international tournament with the US Deaf Women's National Soccer Team. Sometimes it is difficult to describe it accurately using words.

Traveling around the world with my soccer team has taught me about the importance of achieving our dreams. Caught in a moment of distress, I nearly missed the opportunity to help someone else achieve their dream. This moment granted me an epiphany worth reading.
